The architecture aims to provide indoor and outdoor spaces without a limit exhibiting and appreciating art, so that architecture itself becomes a built artwork which reflects the existing context. Coexistence of old architecture and contemporary cultural activities along King Street inspires to create a form which seems to be held or supported by its old neighbor buildings. Contrast with the existing surrounding buildings is exaggerated by using concrete, glass and metal mesh, which are relatively considered as materials for modern architecture while the architecture contributes to balance the old and contemporary cultures and architectures in Newtown.
